Strategic management and organizational behavior

– Are there some organizations that do align their performance appraisal systems with the strategic initiatives that they’re undertaking, and some that don’t? if so, or not please explain.– How you will delineate between those that do, and those that don’t?  In other words, how would you determine whether or not a specific organization (or company) is one of the “aligners” (in this dimension)?
